Working process

The field magnet which produce magnetic flux . The rotating armature cuts the field magnet and current gets to armatur when cutting. This current passes and reaches the slip rings . The slip rings connected to the is connected to a bulb or Galvanometer thus it works!

The phenomena of producing an emf (electro motive force) in a conductor as a result of change in the magnetic flux linked with the conductor is  electro magnetic induction.
